What is Rush?

Rush is the period during the school year where we get the opportunity to meet the girls who are interested in joining our sorority. It is also the time where girls have the chance to meet us and find out who we are and learn what we are about. Rush is the time when you can have any questions you have about sorority life answered and when you can decide whether or not this is something you might want to partake in. All of our chapters rush during the Fall term. Our chapters at UC Santa Barbara, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and UC Davis also hold rush during the Winter term.

When is Rush?
All of our chapters rush during the Fall term. Our chapters at UC Santa Barbara, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and UC Davis also hold rush during the Winter term.

Does rushing cost me anything?
No way! All events during rush are absolutely free. Transportation to and from rush events is also provided.

If I rush, do I have to join?
Absolutely not! Rush is a time when there are no obligations whatsoever. It is an opportunity for you to see if this might be something you are interested in.

Who can join Chi Delta Theta?
Anyone can join! We are an Asian-American interest sorority, which means we strive to promote awareness and knowledge about Asian cultures on campus and throughout the community. As long you have an interest in this, you can join. Chi Delta Theta does not discriminate against race, religion, or national origin.

I'm Interested! What do I do now?
Great! If you go to any of the schools that we are established at, get in contact with the president or Rush chairs! They can tell you what to do next. We also encourage you to come out to any of our Rush events and meet the sisters!

If you are at a school that doesn't have Chi Delta Theta and would like to start a chapter there, please contact any of our expansion chairs at expansion@chideltatheta.org.
