The Beta Chapter of Chi Delta Theta was founded on February 3, 1992 by ten founding members. These women brought the first Asian-American Interest sorority to Cal Poly and continue to bring cultural awareness to the San Luis Obispo community through the annual Lantern Festival, organized in conjunction with Omega Xi Delta Fraternity, as well as participating in campus and community events.
